Promoting Your Event To The WWWorld
Darwin Business - Local People
The Darwin Diary web site was officially launched on the 1st January 2007, by Webnation Web Design, a small web design business located right here in Darwin. The purpose of the web site is to provide an easy to use searchable database, so locals and visitors can find out what events are taking place in and around Darwin Australia, or as we like to call it "The Top End".
Support Our Sponsors Because They Support You
The Darwin Diary web site would not be possible without the support of our valuable sponsors. Please show your support to them by following their links and discover the great goods and services they can provide for you.
Yes It Really Is Free
Thanks to our sponsors, the Darwin Diary remains a free community service, open to anyone who is associated with events in Darwin and the Top End, that may be of interest to the wider community. To add your event to the Darwin Diary you must first register by following the "Add Your Event" link near the top of every page. After registering you will receive an email with your account activation link, clicking this link will activate your account and enable you to log in using your registered username and password.
All Events Screened To Ensure Quality
Once you have logged in to your Darwin Diary account, you can add an event by following the "Add Event" link near the top of the page. All events are screened before they are made public on the web site to ensure nothing undesirable is displayed on the site. After your event is approved it will then be visible to the general public.
You Can Update And Edit Your Events
After your event is approved, it will be visible on the site and you will be free to update and edit it, or delete it if you wish. However any changes you make to your event means it must go through the screening process again.
We Would Love To Hear From You
If you have any feedback, suggestions or complaints about the Darwin Diary, please contact us via our contact page. We are constantly working on improving the site and would love to hear your thoughts. We wish your event every success in 2008 and hope our viewers find the Darwin Diary a helpful source of Top End event information.
Kind Regards
Peter McCarthy - Editor/Designer of the Darwin Diary
